Accenture Board of Directors visit

A team of thirteen Board of Directors from Accenture, United Kingdom led by Senior Managing Director Mr. Mark Beaton, Manchester UK visited Mobility India (MI) on the 15^th of April, 2015 to see MI and also to interact with the beneficiaries supported by the company as volunteers.

After a traditional welcome by Ms, Jaikodi, Manager for Fundraising, MI, a presentation on the activities of MI was made by Ms. Ritu Ghosh, Deputy Director at MI. The Board of Directors (BOD) visited the various departments operating at MI, Bangalore. A few Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant student representatives had the chance to interact with the BOD Team and share their experience on benefitting from the English, Mathematics and Applied Mechanics classes taken by Accenture Volunteers. A group headed by Ms. Noorie from Bannashankari CBR tailoring unit partly funded by Accenture interacted with the BOD too.

In his feedback, Mr. Beaton expressed, “The passion, commitment and energy you give is inspiring and humbling. I am in awe of what you do.” Ms. Ginger Dusek, Senior Managing Director at Accenture, Chicago Illinios spoke in her feedback, “You should be very proud of the support you are providing and the difference you are making in people’s lives”. Ginny Ziegler, Board of Director San Francisco said, “You are doing such wonderful work, touching so many lives in an incredible way”. 

The other BOD were Mr. Andy Clark, Managing Director at Accenture, London; Mr. Rafael Rubio, Managing Director for Technology Consulting, Infrastructure services, Europe, Middle East, Africa & Latin America; Ms. Deepa Fazzari, Managing Director, Washington DC Metro Area, HR and Mr. Florentino Benito Arribas, Senior Managing Director, Business Process Outsourcing, Europe, Africa and Latino America.
