The Centre for Assistive Technology (CAT) was registered as a TRUST on November 24, 2017 in Bangalore to improve lives through assistive technology. The aim is to create awareness of the need for and benefit of assistive products that enable individuals to regain mobility, improve communications and accessibility, perform daily tasks, promote their independence, and participate more actively in society.

CAT has undertaken work that may galvanize the way we address assistive technology. CAT promotes and develops innovative and cost-effective assistive products and brings together a network of partners to help identify the best innovations and solutions.

Considering the need, impact, challenges, and possible solutions to AT, the Centre for Assistive Technology takes the initiative forward to address this huge and unmet need and realizes the need to strengthen the gap. The growing need for AT both in India and globally is a great opportunity to have the maximum possible impact, which cannot be missed. Provides state-of-the-art prosthetic and orthotic components, alongside essential assistive products, raw materials, and equipment within India and low-income countries.
