In July 2025, Mobility India conducted a series of training programs for 224 preschool teachers, equipping them with the skills to identify and intervene in developmental delays and disabilities in young children. Conducted across five key locations from July 7 to July 14, 2025, this initiative underscores our commitment to fostering inclusive education and supporting every child’s developmental journey.

Purpose of the Training

The Preschool Teachers’ Training on Early Identification and Intervention empowers educators to recognize developmental delays and behavioural challenges at an early stage. By equipping teachers with these skills, the program enables:

  • Early detection of developmental issues, ensuring timely support for children.
  • Increased referrals to specialized intervention services for children with special needs.
  • Creation of inclusive and supportive learning environments in preschools.
  • Strengthened support systems for children, families, and educators.

 

Key Outcomes

The training programs delivered remarkable results, highlighting their impact on early childhood education in Tumkur:

  • 224 preschool teachers gained expertise in identifying developmental delays and behavioural issues.
  • A total of 168 children with disabilities were identified across the five programs, enabling early intervention.
  • Teachers reported increased confidence in referring children to specialized services.
  • Preschools in Tumkur taluk are now better equipped to foster inclusive education, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
