MOBILITY INDIA HYDERABAD CELEBRATES 3RD ANNIVERSARY WITH COMMUNITY HEALTH INITIATIVE

Mobility India Hyderabad (MIH) marked its third anniversary with a meaningful community health initiative, conducting a comprehensive Screening and Awareness Program for SCB sanitation workers on February 10th and 11th, 2026.
The two-day program was designed specifically for sanitation workers who play a vital role in maintaining community hygiene but often face significant physical strain due to the demanding nature of their work.
Twenty-five users participated in the program, receiving:
  • Individual musculoskeletal health assessments
  • Personalized physiotherapy recommendations
  • Pain prevention and management education
  • Posture correction strategies
  • Fall prevention guidance
  •  Ergonomic workplace corrections
  • Medical referrals were necessary
Sanitation workers perform essential services that keep our communities clean and healthy. However, the physical demands of their work—including repetitive movements, prolonged standing, heavy lifting, and awkward postures—often lead to musculoskeletal issues, chronic pain, and other health challenges.
Despite their critical role in public health, these workers’ own health needs frequently go unaddressed due to limited access to healthcare services.
IMPACT & OUTCOMES
The program successfully screened all 25 participants, with each receiving:
  • Comprehensive physical assessment
  • Personalized care plan
  • Educational materials on preventive health
  • Follow-up referrals as needed
