Promoting Preventive Care: Mobility India Conducts Community Diabetic Screening Programs

Mobility India’s Community Based Inclusive Development (CBID) team recently concluded a series of comprehensive diabetic screening programs in collaboration with Shri Krishna Seva Ashram Hospital, Jayanagar.
Recognizing that early detection is the first step toward preventing secondary disabilities, the camps focused on vital diagnostic tests including FBS (Fasting Blood Sugar), PPBS (Post-Prandial Blood Sugar), and HbA1c.
Program Highlights:
  • Jan 19, 2026 (Bilekallahalli): 50 clients screened.
  • Jan 27, 2026 (Hakki Pikki Colony, Kengeri): 50 clients screened.
  • Jan 30, 2026 (Wilson Garden): 53 clients screened.
Impact & Next Steps: With a total of 153 clients screened, those identified with diabetes received immediate counseling and were referred to government hospitals for follow-up care. To further support safe mobility, Mobility India is planning the provision of specialized diabetic footwear for those in need, helping to prevent complications and promote long-term health.
