2016

Mobility India’s Prototype on low cost, pre¬fabricated Twin device –developed for children with cerebral palsy or mobility difficulty to sit and stand with ease has own the First place in The Enable Makeathon. The competition was a 60-day programme which took placed from November 2015 and January 2016 organized by The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The competition received several entries . 84 teams were shortlisted and 20 best entries were showcased on 23rd Jan 2016. Three devices were judged to be the most innovative and useful.

National award for ‘Outstanding Work in the Creation of Barrier Free Environment for Persons with Disabilities’ by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Disability Affairs, Government of India. 

2009

Best Indian NGO Award in medium category for the South, instituted by the Resource alliance and the Nand & Jeet Khemka Foundation for setting and promoting best practices in resource mobilization, accountability and transparency.

2008

Mr Soikat Ghosh Moulic given ‘Professional Contribution Award’ by the Oxford college of Physiotherapy, Bangalore for his outstanding work in the field of Rehabilitation.

2007

Banjara Academy and APD jointly acknowledged Ms Kamala for achievement in community awareness.

2006

Ms Ritu Ghosh awarded for her distinguished professional achievement by Orthotics and Prosthetics Society of India.

2005

The light weight plastic SATHI Transtibial Prosthesis received ‘The Centre for International Rehabilitation Yeongchi Wu International Educational Award’ during the 11th World Congress of ISPO held at Hong Kong.

Provision Asia presented UN International Disability Day award for extraordinary work for helping disabled community.

2004

Best prosthetic paper on “Prosthetic management of trilateral amputee – case study” in OPSI Conference in Cuttack.

2003

Best youth talent award for paper titled “Therapy services and its linkage with community based rehabilitation” in the All India Occupational Therapists Association Conference.

Awarded best stall in ACCESS 2003, Hyderabad.

2002

Best prosthetic paper on “Prosthetic management of bilateral transfemoral amputee-case study” in OPSI Conference, Bangalore.

2000

The Adaptation of the Jaipur Foot for Modular Prostheses received the Best Paper Award at Bi-Annual conference of Orthotics & Prosthetics society of India, Mumbai.

1998

Best paper on orthotics- Follow-up of Unilock Orthosis in Keracon OPSI conference at Trivandrum.

1997

Best orthotic paper for UNILOCK PLASTIC ORTHOSIS at the Orthotics & Prosthetics Society of India (OPSI), Agra.

1996

Mr Chapal Khasnabis awarded the fellowship of Orthotic Prosthetic Society of India.

1996-1998

Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America – RESNA awarded to Mobility India in Sore Butts Cushion Competition for designing a low cost seating cushion for consecutive years.
